Minnesota Farm Bureau PAC Endorses Raleigh

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 1, 2022

The Minnesota Farm Bureau PAC recently endorsed Donald Raleigh in his reelection bid for Minnesota State House. Minnesota Farm Bureau PAC is the state’s largest agricultural organization representing 78 counties and nearly 30,000 members.

Committee Chair Ray Johnson said, “The MFBF PAC Committee endorsement process is an important step in engaging with candidates for political office. These endorsements help us to understand candidate viewpoints on key agricultural issues as we look ahead to the election in November and provide insight on how our farmers and ranchers can connect with candidates to help them understand the issues.”

Donald Raleigh stated “Supporting our farmers and ranchers has been a lifelong privilege of mine. I am honored to stand with the Minnesota Farm Bureau in supporting Minnesota producers. Agriculture runs in my family; my father, his father, and his father were all farmers. The roots of Minnesota farmers run deep in our community.”

ST. PAUL, MN, June 28, 2022—The state’s most effective small business political action committee today endorsed Representative Donald Raleigh (Blaine) for re-election in House District 32B.

Minnesota small businesses are facing painful economic headwinds – record inflation, skyrocketing energy costs, labor shortages, supply chain disruptions – and many have not fully recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, Main Street needs strong advocates in the Legislature.

“Representative Raleigh scored 100% on the 2021-22 NFIB MN Voting Record and has proven he’s willing to fight for the right of our members to own, operate, and grow their businesses,” said John Reynolds, NFIB Minnesota State Director. “Don understands first-hand the challenges facing Main Street, and he is committed to making our state a better place to raise a family and do business.”

State legislative endorsements are decided by the NFIB MN PAC Board, which is comprised of small business owners in the state. Incumbent legislative endorsements are based on the 2021-22 NFIB MN Voting Record. Lawmakers must have a score of 70 percent or better to be considered for an endorsement.

NFIB represents over 10,000 small businesses in Minnesota. The NFIB MN PAC endorsement is an important signal to voters across the state that a candidate will stand with small business.
